Selection Criteria
The minimum academic requirement in most cases will be a 2:1 degree in any academic discipline and at least three "A" levels of grade B or above, or equivalent, in recognised academic subjects.
Those with a 2:1 degree or better should also be able to demonstrate one or more of the additional qualities set out below.
Those with a 2:2 degree or worse may still satisfy the entry requirements if they are able to demonstrate significant strength in one or more of the qualities set out below.
Commercial Awareness
Experiences which demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the
real world and an ability to apply practical solutions.
Advocacy
Experiences, hobbies or activities which demonstrate a familiarity with public appearances and speaking.
Independence
Experiences, hobbies or activities which demonstrate initiative,
organisational skills, an ability to get along with others and
self-confidence.
Other Legal Work Experience
In a legal or non-legal capacity.
Other Work Experience
Employment which demonstrates an ability to deal with clients, work under pressure, organisation and responsibility.
Other Life Experiences
Experiences which demonstrate strength of character, motivation, communications skills and/or integrity.
