Chambers Administration
Pump Court Chambers have a dedicated team of 16 support staff to provide our clients with the highest level of professional excellence and service. Each of Pump Courts Practice Groups has its own dedicated clerking team, who have a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Chief Clerk :
Dave Barber 01962 868161
Dave has been a clerk for 32 years, having started his career at a Civil set in London. He moved to Pump Court some 3 years later taking over as Chief Clerk in 1993. He has seen chambers double in size in the past 15 years.
Chambers Administrator :
Andrea Cheshire 01962 833228
Andrea joined us from Winchester Courts administration in 1998 where she arranged judicial sittings. Her original role with us was fees collection, she was promoted in 2007 to Chambers Administrator and is now responsible for the financial well being of Chambers.
Senior Team Clerks :

Tony joined Chambers from Garden Court Family Chambers in 2002. Originally junior clerk to our Family Team, Tony now has sole responsibility for the day to day running of the team.
Holly Bell (Swindon) 01793 539899
Holly joined Pump Court in 2000 after finishing a Law and Business degree at Northampton University. Following promotion she took over the Swindon office in 2006.

Tony joined Chambers from Bell Yard in London. He is now our Senior Criminal Clerk with the day to day responsibility for the team and clerks.

Jonathan joined Chambers from 14 Grays Inn Square. He has been a clerk for over 20 years and is now the Senior Civil Clerk with responsible for the day to day running of the team and diary.
Marketing Manager :

From 2003 Lian was Practice Manager to the Family Team at 5 Fountain Court, Birmingham. Following a geographical move she joined us at the end of April 2007 to help with the Marketing and development of Chambers.
Team Clerks :
Jon Chapman - (Crime) 01962 868161
Jon Started with Chambers as the junior clerk having completed his GCSE's. He has since become an integral part of the Criminal Clerking Team.
Ben Harfield - (Crime) 01962 868161
Previously Ben had spent time working for local Solicitors based in and around Winchester. He joined Chambers in October 2007 offering support as the number 2 in the Criminal Team clerking.
Charlotte Horn - (Family) 020 7353 0711
Charlotte joined Chambers from school as support for the Civil Team. Having gained experience she was asked to join the Family Team clerks and is now the number 2 in the Family Team.
Darren Whitbread - (Civil) 020 7353 0711
Darren was offered a position with Chambers after spending time with us on a fixed term contract. His previous experience gained as a clerk at other chambers has proved invaluable.
Tim Dockrill - (Family) 020 7353 0711
Tim spent 5 years as a clerk at a specialist Family Chambers in London before spending a couple of years travelling abroad. He joins us to lend his experience and support to Chambers Family team.
Fees :
Lyn Knight 01962 833227
Lyn has worked in the legal profession for 37 years first in a solicitors as a legal executive and then in chambers becoming a senior clerk in 1986. She joined Pump Court in 2006 and her experience with fees has been invaluable.
Sheila Campbell (Swindon) 01793 539899
Sheila joined the fees team in July 2009 and having previous experience in administration, sale and fees will no doubt become an integral part of the team.
Junior Clerk (London) :
Sam Coarse
Sam joined Chambers in 2009 after leaving college, having completed a BTEC in business and 'A' levels in Business, Maths and History.
Junior Clerk (Winchester) :
Hugh Maguire
Hugh joined Chambers in 2009 and is the newest member of the clerking team, having previously been in Customer Services.
