About us

Pump Court Chambers operates from three Centres in London, Winchester and Swindon.  Conference facilities are available in each location.    Chambers has over  70 members, including 5 silks and provides expert advocacy and advisory services in all levels of courts in the UK and abroad.  In addition we have two Associate Member Silks who provide additional cover in family work and an Associate Member dealing with mediation.

In London, Chambers is based in large premises in 3 Pump Court, Middle Temple, close to the Royal Courts of Justice, the four Inns of Court and the Old Bailey.  In Winchester, Chambers has a large period building in the city centre close to the Crown Court and easily accessible by train and car.  In Swindon, Chambers has modern office premises in the business centre of town, close to the Combined Court Building.

Members are divided into three practice teams: Family, Crime and Civil, each containing a number of specialisms.   Each team contains a wide spread of members from the most senior to junior barristers.  Each team is served by specialist clerks dealing with that team alone.

At any time Chambers has at least three funded pupil barristers.

Chambers offers written advice on any case within a given period of time.  Oral advice is available in a face to face meeting at any of our centres or elsewhere to suit the client.
